Dedicate a tree or bench 

Have you noticed trees and benches with plaques in some Vaughan parks? These have been donated by members of the community to commemorate a loved one or special occasion while creating a permanent and physical memory. 

The City of Vaughan’s Tree and Bench Dedication program provides an opportunity for you to do the same, while enhancing your community park. 

You can donate a tree with a plaque or a bench and pay tribute to an individual or occasion such as:

• anniversaries

• birthdays

• celebrations of life

• milestones
