Sports Village Park

Located at 2600 Rutherford Rd., the park spans across 9.12 hectares (approximately 22 acres), offering something for everyone – whether you’re looking to get active or simply enjoy the outdoors.

From a modern playground and shaded seating areas to new, scenic pathways and renewed bocce courts, the park is being thoughtfully improved for both active recreation and relaxed community moments. As part of The Sports Village’s ongoing transformation, these new facilities will seamlessly connect to existing amenities, including a junior baseball diamond, a fully lit senior diamond and beach volleyball courts.

• The City of Vaughan completed a needs assessment study for the park in July and August 2023 to better understand how community members use the park, how they would like to use it in the future and what amenities they felt were missing from it.
