Remembrance Day

Every year, at the 11th hour, on the 11th day, of the 11th month, we honour the brave Canadians who served and continue to serve our country. 

 

As a reflection of the City's commitment to commemorate the remarkable service and sacrifice of Vaughan citizens, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council invite the community to the City of Vaughan’s 2025 Remembrance Day.

 

Join Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council to honour the brave Canadians who served and continue to serve our country. 

 

Date: Tuesday, November 11th, 2025

 

Time: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. 

 

Location: Woodbridge Cenotaph (80 Wallace St.)

 

Important Notice: Wallace Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., and parking will be available at Woodbridge Memorial Pool and Arena.

 

In addition, Wallace House will be open on Remembrance Day, featuring displays of military uniforms, newspaper clippings, and photographs related to World War I and World War II. We invite visitors to explore these meaningful exhibits as part of the day's commemorations.
