Recreation Programs
Harvest adventure! As summer cools down, we’re turning over a new leaf with the launch of our Fall Recreation eGuide! A new session of recreation programs at Vaughan community centres starts Saturday, September 23.
Launch into soccer, basketball, pickleball, volleyball. Slow down with mindfulness or speed up with Zumba and Disney Inspired Fitness Fun. Try therapeutic yoga and tai chi. Paint your own pottery: a jack-o-lantern mug, flower pot, or Chanukah menorah. Try your hand at baking a seasonal sweet—all treats, no tricks! Learn to ‘tickle the ivories’ or lace up your skates. Bow to taekwondo or karate. Build a website, a resume, or your confidence practicing public speaking. Get kindergarten ready learning reading and writing, Italian, French and (new!) Hebrew. Make a difference; be a volunteer. Plus, check out our seasonal workshops; work on your green thumb, create a spooky film, paint a pumpkin plate, decorate a gingerbread house, handcraft a menorah, and make your own winter wreath!
