Modifications to Volume 2 of Vaughan Official Plan 2025
Vaughan Official Plan 2025 (VOP 2025) was adopted by Council on October 28, 2025. Following the adoption of VOP 2025, the City initiated a comprehensive review of Volume 2 of Vaughan Official Plan 2010 (VOP 2010) to update and bring into VOP 2025.
Area-Specific Plans and Site-Specific Policies are the first phase of the review, of which the lands that are located within the Employment Area in the adopted VOP 2025, are prioritized. The modifications are intended to follow the Provincial direction and legislation on Employment Areas and align with the adopted VOP 2025.
The modifications to the Council-adopted VOP 2025 follow a similar process to an Official Plan Amendment to ensure transparency and adequate public consultation, and consider the following Area-Specific Plans and Site-Specific Policies as shown on the Location Map below:

- Section 12.5, Adult Entertainment Uses
- Section 12.12, Huntington Business Park
- Section 12.14, Maple Industrial Area

- Section 13.19, Huntington South
- Section 13.28, 30 and 70 Aviva Park Drive
- Section 13.29, SE Corner of Weston Rd. and Highway 407
- Section 13.30, NW Corner of Highway 427 and Highway 7
- Section 13.33, 600, 800 & 1000 Tesma Way
- Section 13.42, 8500 Huntington Road
- Section 13.62, South (Rear) Portion of 2685 Highway 7 and 44 Killaloe Road
