Everybody in the water!
Learn to Swim
Everyone starts somewhere. Vaughan’s learn-to-swim program — based on the Lifesaving Society's Swim for Life — is where you (or your child(ren)) begin to feel comfortable, capable and in control in the water. Swimming is more than just a fun activity: it’s a vital life skill. Our swim lessons start as early as four months old, because it’s never too early to learn how to stay safe in and around water. Our certified instructors create a fun, safe and supportive environment where participants of all ages can learn essential skills, from floating and breathing techniques to stroke development and water smart safety awareness. Learn-to-swim lessons are offered during the fall, winter, spring and summer seasons. Daytime group swim lessons also available.

Lifesaving
Build skills, push your limits and be part of something bigger. Teams and lifesaving programs combine skill development, teamwork and real-world application. You’ll build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of belonging in the water while training alongside others or working toward new challenges. Programs run in structured sessions led by experienced instructors and coaches. Participants train regularly, build skills over time and work toward personal and group goals. For many, this is where the path toward leadership begins — developing the skills, experience and confidence that lead into advanced certifications, instructing and lifeguarding opportunities.
