Join us today, Sunday, Feb. 22, for the City of Vaughan’s annual Lunar New Year celebration from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

This event will include remarks from Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council, exciting entertainment, vibrant dance performances, a traditional lion dance, red pocket giveaways, complimentary refreshments and much more.

Lunar New Year is one of the most elaborate, colourful and important observances for the Asian community. It is about ushering in luck and prosperity, celebrating the previous year and welcoming the new one.

In 2026, we celebrate the Year of the Horse, which symbolizes energy, confidence and vitality.

The event is FREE and pre-registration is encouraged. Confirm your attendance online.
