There’s a new place to play cricket in Vaughan!
You’re invited to the grand opening at North Maple Regional Park on June 5
Cricket fans – it’s time to grab your wickets and lace up your spikes! The City of Vaughan is batting up to officially open Vaughan’s first-ever cricket field at North Maple Regional Park (NMRP) – and you’re invited to come mark the occasion!
Join the celebrations with Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council on Thursday, June 5 at 7 p.m. at NMRP, located at 11085 Keele St. The event will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, an interactive DJ and FREE ice cream.
The new cricket field will be ready for permitting in June and features:
- three artificial turf wicket areas
- batting cages
- a digital scoreboard
- spectator areas with bleachers
- and more!
