Take an online survey or attend a pop-up to have your say

North Maple Regional Park (NMRP), located at 11085 Keele St., has become a year-round destination for residents across the city. As planning for the park continues, the City of Vaughan is evaluating options for a temporary off-leash dog area where dogs can run free, make new furry friends and enjoy the outdoors, and you can help shape it!

Have your say by taking an online survey until Monday, April 6 or by attending a pop-up at Maple Community Centre (10190 Keele St.) on Wednesday, March 18 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to speak directly to the project team. Your input will help guide the location of the off-leash dog park and what it will look like. More information is available at vaughan.ca/DogPark.

How we’re keeping off-leash areas safe

Each of the City’s off-leash areas has a locked gate providing safe access for residents with dogs. These fenced areas are always separated from playgrounds and other park facilities. These spaces enable dogs, their families and park visitors to safely co-exist and enjoy all that Vaughan’s outdoor amenities have to offer.
