Attend a tree planting event on Sept. 27 at Langstaff Park

National Forest Week is around the corner! One of the ways the City of Vaughan is recognizing this important week is with a community tree planting event – and you’re invited to help grow a greener future.

The community tree planting event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Langstaff Park (2001 Langstaff Rd.) from 10 a.m. to noon. A safety demonstration will be conducted before planting begins, and the City will provide shovels, gloves and light refreshments for volunteers.

This is a family-friendly event – no tree-planting experience required! Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.

This event will be held rain, wind or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress appropriately. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own closed-toe footwear and a reusable water bottle.
