Exciting news for Vaughan’s Ward 4 community – Crimson Forest Common (80 Crimson Forest Dr.) is being expanded to bring even more opportunities for connection and play!

On May 25, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council gathered to announce the next phase of the park, which will enhance this already vibrant community space.

Design work will begin later this year, which will include adding a range of amenities that support active living and inclusive play. Highlights include accessible playgrounds for both young and older children, along with thoughtfully designed sheltered seating areas for families and visitors to relax and connect.

Additional features will include a spacious greenspace and a local off-leash dog area for pet owners to exercise and socialize their dogs. Community feedback will be vital to the final design of this park. Residents will have the opportunity to help shape it later this year.

This next phase of the park will be completed by 2028.
