Vaughan’s local parks are calling your name! With nicer weather sticking around, it’s time to head outside and take advantage of your local parks, fields, courts and splashpads. You can get a quick workout in at an outdoor fitness station, take in the fresh air while hiking a local trail or bring your kids to make a splash!

 

Amenities that are now open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., weather permitting, include:

  • baseball diamonds (subject to weather and surface conditions)

  • basketball courts 

  • benches, gazebos and picnic tables

  • bocce courts

  • natural soccer fields (subject to weather and surface conditions)

  • off-leash dog parks

  • outdoor fitness stations

  • parking lot gates 

  • pathways and trails

  • playgrounds 

  • pump tracks

  • skateboard parks 

  • synthetic soccer fields 

  • tennis and pickleball courts

  • volleyball courts

  • washrooms 

 

Also, starting Saturday May 16, splashpads will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Please note, splashpad openings are subject to weather and surface conditions.

  • Wade Gate Park

 

The splashpads at Melville Park, Maple Airport Park and North Thornhill Community Centre are currently closed for maintenance and repairs and are expected to open later in the season.
