Attend an Open House or take a survey

Exciting improvements are on the way to Robert Watson Memorial Park (561 Aberdeen Ave.) – and the City of Vaughan wants your input to help shape them!

This well-loved Ward 3 neighbourhood park is set for a refresh. Plans include updates to the basketball court, soccer field and playground, creating an even better space for families, athletes and the community to connect and play.

But that’s not all! A new shade structure is coming to the park and the existing bocce court is ready for renewal – giving you the opportunity to help reimagine the space. Should the bocce court be updated, transformed into a fitness area, a community garden or an open greenspace for relaxation and movement? And what style of shade structure would you like to see – a traditional design or something more modern and unique?

Get involved

To have a say on improvements to the park, attend an upcoming Open House. Here are the details:

  • Date: Wednesday, April 29
  • Location: Chancellor Community Centre (350 Ansley Grove Rd.)
  • Time: Drop in any time from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Can’t attend in person? No problem – you can still have a say! An online survey will be available from Wednesday, April 29 to Thursday, May 21 at vaughan.ca/parks
