Each complaint or violation requires a significant amount of investigation before a by-law enforcement officer issues a fine of penalty for non-compliance. Charges are laid as a last resort; the goal is to work with property owners and provide education and outreach to follow the by-laws.

Streetlights on unassumed streets, (generally in subdivisions under construction), are maintained by the developer. Please provide as much information as possible and the City will contact the developer to arrange for repairs.

This is a dedicated time for unstructured scrimmage play against different skill levels. Teams will be formed on-site with the help of staff. Racket sport players have the opportunity to challenge new opponents of different skill levels or play against one partner.

Community Service Organization (CSO)
This is a City-approved, Vaughan-based, not-for-profit community organization run by an elected and volunteer board of directors whose prime purpose is to provide recreation, community or leisure services to the residents of Vaughan.
