We’re assessing traffic in the Huntington Road area
Attend an Open House on Sept. 17 to learn more
Do you live, work or play in the Huntington Road area? If so, you’re invited to get involved in our road study!
The City of Vaughan is undertaking a Corridor Review for the Huntington Road area, which includes Huntington Road from Major Mackenzie Drive to Kirby Road and the New Kleinburg neighbourhood.
By assessing traffic operations in this area, the City can identify additional road safety opportunities for pedestrians, cyclists, transit and vehicular road users to serve all modes of transportation.
We have completed the second phase of the review and are ready to share findings on existing conditions and receive community feedback.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Attend a drop-in Open House on Wednesday, Sept. 17, any time from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Tanya Khan Elementary School (422 Barons St.) to speak directly to the project team and ask questions.
Complete an online comment form which will be available following the Open House, from Wednesday, Sept 17 to Wednesday, Oct. 1 to provide feedback on the findings.
Feedback collected will help City staff recommend short- and long-term plans in the Huntington Road and New Kleinburg area.
