Take part in Vaughan Culture Days this fall!

The City of Vaughan is calling all artists, creators and local organizations to be part of Vaughan’s annual award-winning Culture Days celebration this fall!
The City’s Culture Days Festival supports local community groups, non-profits and individuals by reducing barriers such as rental fees, offering event setup assistance and providing marketing support, including partnerships with the National Culture Days organization, to enhance promotional efforts.
Submit an Expression of Interest form by noon on Monday, June 1 to facilitate free public events and activities in your community during Culture Days, taking place this year from Friday, Sept. 18 to Sunday, Oct. 4.
Each year, hundreds of artists and organizers participate in this festival to offer inclusive programming for residents to enjoy. For the fourth year in a row, Vaughan has been selected as a Festival Hub for Ontario Culture Days. This provides a unique opportunity for the City to continue to foster cultural understanding and promote inclusivity while exploring various forms of art, music, dance, heritage and literature in Vaughan.

in person on Thursday, May 14 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Vaughan City Hall, Thornhill Room (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
virtually on Friday, May 15, from noon to 1 p.m. via Microsoft Teams.
Be part of this award-winning event:
- In 2026, Vaughan Culture Days was selected as an award recipient for Top 100 Ontario Festivals and Events.
- Vaughan ranked fifth among mid-sized cities in the 2025 Culture Days.
In 2025, the City coordinated 62 free events across 28 locations.
- In 2023, the City received the inaugural International Festivals & Events Association (IFEA)/HAAS Pinnacle Silver Award for Best Community Outreach Program.
