Attend a tree planting event on May 9 at Concord/Thornhill Regional Park

Planting season is officially here! The City of Vaughan, in partnership with Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests (LEAF), invites you to help spruce up the community at a free tree planting event on Saturday, May 9 at Concord/Thornhill Regional Park (299 Racco Pkwy) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

No tree planting experience is required to attend this family-friendly event. A safety demonstration will be conducted before planting begins, and the City will provide shovels and gloves for volunteers. Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.

This event will be held rain, wind or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress appropriately, wear closed-toe footwear and bring a reusable water bottle.
