Coming soon: Purpleville Park
A vibrant new place for recreation and play is coming to Ward 3 – introducing Purpleville Park!
Earlier today, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council gathered to announce this new community park. Located at 140 Brant Dr., this new park will serve the Teston Road and Pine Valley Drive community.
The future Purpleville Park will include:
- a modern playground for children with inclusive play features.
- a shade structure and seating areas to provide comfortable gathering spaces for families and visitors.
- walking pathways that improve accessibility and encourage outdoor activity.
- a pump track for wheeled sports such as cycling.
- tennis and pickleball courts, supporting both casual play and organized recreation.
- additional landscaping and open space areas.
- and more!
Community members will be invited to share ideas and feedback this summer to help guide the final park design. Construction is planned to begin in 2027 and will be completed in 2028.
