Facility Management

The Facility Management department focuses on the efficient and effective delivery of property management services for the City of Vaughan.

It aligns operations, business administration, construction, capital projects and building sciences with the goals and strategies of the City of Vaughan, including risk management, security, environmental stewardship, compliance and standards, work and space management. The department plans, organizes, operates and evaluates building systems and operation of all City facilities.

The department is responsible for capital project planning, design, tendering, construction, and contract administration of all City buildings.

  • 90+ City-operated properties, facilities and buildings
  • Capital projects
  • 2 million sq.ft. of service space
  • park walkway & sports field lighting
  • outdoor water play features
