Santafest Parade
Santa Claus is coming to town and it’s not too early to get involved. The City of Vaughan is inviting schools, community groups, sports teams and businesses to start planning now and secure your spot in this year’s Santafest Parade.
Whether you’re interested in creating a float, marching with a band, joining as a walking group or showcasing a mascot, the City is looking for enthusiastic participants ready to help bring holiday cheer to thousands of residents and visitors.

Participants - what is needed before the deadline of Friday, November 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. (noon)
1. A Certificate of Insurance naming the "Corporation of the City of Vaughan", and the "The Regional Municipality of York", as an additional insured – use the City’s template
If you are unable to get a Certificate of Insurance, email santafest@vaughan.ca.
2. Entries require an entry fee of $100+HST - With exception of schools belonging to York Regional Public, York Regional Catholic and Separate School Boards or Community Marching Bands. These groups will receive a bursary to participate.
