It’s time to head outside and enjoy some fun in the sun! With the arrival of nicer weather, most of our park amenities are now open for the season! You can get in a quick workout at an outdoor fitness station, take in the fresh air while hiking a local trail or challenge your friends to a bocce game right here in Vaughan.

The City of Vaughan’s Public Works professionals work hard to keep our community clean, safe and beautiful 365 days a year. To recognize this team of 450 dedicated staff, the City is celebrating National Public Works Week from Sunday, May 18 to Saturday, May 24 – and you’re invited to join us!

 

York Hill Park Rain Garden Community Planting (Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program)

Join the Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program for garden maintenance at the York Hill Park Rain Garden - infill planting and mulching!

Come plant a variety of native species that will help sustain our local pollinator population and support the stormwater management features of this rain garden.
