The City of Vaughan is working to establish a new set of standards and guidelines to help plan, design, develop and maintain privately owned public spaces – and you can have a say!

As we welcome spring, it’s important to work together to care for our community. So, whether you’re having a picnic at the park or going for a stroll down a path, be sure to leave our green spaces exactly how you found them – that means no litter left behind!

While the City of Vaughan starts our annual spring-cleaning blitz, here is how you can do your part to ensure our community remains litter-free:

Help keep your property safe, clean and beautiful

Spring has many pluses – warmer weather, longer days and flowers in bloom. But with the snow now melted away, it also reveals litter that has accumulated under it throughout the winter.
