Help shape the future of North Maple Regional Park
Final chance to share your feedback
The City of Vaughan is putting the finishing touches on the North Maple Regional Park (NMRP) Master Plan, and your input can help make sure it reflects what our community wants most.
Here’s how you can get involved:
Take a survey
Until Sunday, Dec. 14, you can take an online survey at vaughan.ca/NMRP to share your feedback.
Attend a pop-up event
We’re hosting five in-person pop-ups where you can meet the project team and share your feedback on the plans. Here is the schedule:
- Friday, Nov. 14 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Pierre Berton Resource Library (4921 Rutherford Rd.)
- Friday, Nov. 14 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.)
- Saturday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Maple Community Centre (10190 Keele St.)
- Saturday, Nov. 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Carrville Community Centre (655 Thomas Cook Ave.)
- Saturday, Nov. 29 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kortright Centre for Conservation (9550 Pine Valley Dr.)
Through the NMRP Master Plan, we are creating a long-term development, programming and management outline that will focus on three key pillars – restore, engage, play – and include activities for restoring nature, building community, and providing spaces for active living and play.
Since July 2024, more than 1,745 residents have shared their vision for NMRP through pop-ups, workshops, youth camps and public surveys. The City is conducting this final round of public engagement for the NMRP Master Plan to ensure that what’s being proposed for the park aligns with what you would like to see.
