At today’s Committee of the Whole (1) Meeting, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council unanimously approved a resolution to establish a memorial to honour the victims who were fatally shot in the December 2022 shooting at a Vaughan condominium.
Update: the City of Vaughan’s Significant Weather Event
has ended as of Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2023.
The City declared a Significant Weather Event on Monday, Jan. 16 based on a freezing rain warning issued by Environment Canada. This event has ended effective Tuesday, Jan. 17 at noon.
A new pet-friendly space is coming to Ward 3! The City of Vaughan is planning for a new fenced-in local off-leash dog area within Giovanni Caboto Park, located at 75 Matthew Dr. in Woodbridge. Once complete, this designated off-leash area will welcome dogs of all sizes, with separate spaces for large and small breeds.

Tuesday, Jan. 17 and is expected to change to light rain by late morning or
early afternoon.

the winter to ensure everyone can travel safely regardless of what weather conditions come our way. And that includes windrow-clearing operations!
