The Yonge-Steeles corridor is evolving. As part of its growth, the City of Vaughan is undertaking a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment study for the proposed extensions of Royal Palm Drive and Powell Road. The City is proposing an extension of Royal Palm Drive, from Hilda Avenue to Yonge Street, and of Powell Road, from Pinewood Drive to Steeles Avenue West.

It’s School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week! From Monday, June 5 to Friday, June 9, the City of Vaughan is celebrating and recognizing our dedicated team of 120 crossing guards who help students, parents and guardians travel safely to and from school each day.
