On March 12, the City of Vaughan marked the City Playhouse Theatre's 30th anniversary with a free Open House – and it was a real show-stopper!

Guests enjoyed official remarks, performances by Aaron the Magician and the K-Pop Demon Hunters, a meet-and-greet and more.

“Thank you to everyone who came out to our Open House in celebration of the City Playhouse Theatre’s 30th anniversary,” said Mayor Del Duca. “I want to acknowledge the incredible performers and the City staff who made the evening truly special. Vaughan is home to many vibrant and thriving creative industries, both professional and amateur. For 30 years, this theatre has launched artists, delighted audiences and strengthened the cultural heartbeat of our community. It has been a place of learning, collaboration and inspiration. This is thanks to the performers, volunteers, staff and supporters whose passion built this legacy. I’m looking forward to seeing many more years of unforgettable moments on this stage.”
