Say 'I do' ... again!
Renew your vows at Vaughan City Hall
Whether it’s been five years or 25 years, renewing your vows is a meaningful way to celebrate your love story.
The City of Vaughan offers onsite civil vow renewal ceremonies at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.). Here’s how to get started:
- Contact the City. Reach out to the Office of the City Clerk by phone at 905-832-8504, by email at marriage@vaughan.ca or visit Vaughan City Hall.
- Schedule a date. Ceremonies are available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Evening and weekend options may be available based on officiant availability. Bookings can be made up to three months in advance.
- Attend a consultation. Once an officiant is assigned, you’ll be scheduled for a pre-ceremony consultation to confirm details and complete a questionnaire.
Here are a few key details to keep in mind before you walk down the aisle again:
- The ceremony room accommodates up to 40 people (including the couple, officiant, witnesses and guests).
- The ceremony fee is $344.65, payable by debit, cheque, Visa or MasterCard at the consultation.
- At least one applicant must attend the consultation and complete a questionnaire.
- Personalized vows are welcome — please bring a written copy to the consultation.
- Decorations, confetti, candles, incense and alcohol are not permitted on City property.
- Music is not provided and there is no speaker system.
- Guests are welcome to take their own photos and videos of this special event.
