The now award-winning Vaughan Complete Streets Guide (PDF) provides a comprehensive framework for designing, building and maintaining streets that balance mobility with livability, supporting Vaughan’s vision for well-planned and connected communities.
Developed through extensive research and consultation, the guide establishes a consistent approach to street design that integrates transportation, land use, environmental sustainability and community well-being. It outlines strategies and design principles to ensure streets serve as vibrant public spaces that enhance safety, accessibility and comfort for everyone.
