Vaughan’s beloved Santafest Parade is back and bringing the ho-ho-holiday spirit to all

Grab your blankets and hot chocolate, and join us on Saturday, Nov. 29 for a FREE magical celebration, featuring Christmas floats, marching bands, live performers and a special appearance by Old Saint Nick.

The parade will begin at 11 a.m., starting at the intersection of Springside Road and Melville Avenue, travelling north on Melville Avenue, then east on Major Mackenzie Drive, ending at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

Note, roads along the parade route will be closed on the morning of Saturday, Nov. 29, before the parade begins until after it ends. Residences and businesses located on these roads will be impacted. Signage will be in place to guide traffic through detour routes.

Businesses, community groups, sports teams and schools in the area – and throughout the community – are encouraged to participate in the parade with floats, marching bands, walking groups or mascots. Register by Monday, Nov. 3 at noon.

You can also support this magical celebration as a sponsor or volunteer along the route. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, email santafest@vaughan.ca or check out the sponsorship package (PDF). Those interested in volunteering must complete the application form.
