NEW DATE: City of Vaughan’s Santafest Parade now happening on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m.

Please note the new date: the City of Vaughan’s Santafest Parade will now take place on Sunday, Nov. 30 at 2 p.m. Please update your calendars and plan accordingly!

This FREE, family-friendly celebration will feature Christmas floats, marching bands, live performers and a special appearance by Old Saint Nick.

The parade will begin at 2 p.m., starting at the intersection of Springside Road and Melville Avenue, travelling north on Melville Avenue, then east on Major Mackenzie Drive, ending at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).

Roads along the parade route will be closed on Sunday, Nov. 30 from 12:30 p.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m. Residences and businesses located on these roads will be impacted. Signage will be in place to guide traffic through detour routes.

Want to participate in the parade – there’s still time to sign up! Schools, community groups, sports teams and businesses interested in participating in this year’s parade with floats, marching bands, walking groups or mascots now have until Friday, Nov. 14 to register.

You can also support this magical celebration as a sponsor or volunteer along the route. To inquire about sponsorship opportunities, email santafest@vaughan.ca. Those interested in volunteering must complete the application form
