Keeping you moving
E-scooter and e-bike rentals are now available in Vaughan!
The City of Vaughan is rolling out a new way to get around the community!
Today, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council officially marked the launch of a two-year Shared Micromobility Pilot program in select areas across Vaughan. Through the pilot program, residents and visitors can rent small, lightweight vehicles – e-scooters and e-bikes – to travel within the city as an alternate mode of transportation. And renting these devices is easy! All you have to do is use one of the following vendors’ mobile apps, which are available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store:
This exciting initiative is part of Vaughan’s ongoing commitment to offering a more connected, accessible and sustainable transportation network.
The program will be rolled out in phases, beginning in the area bounded by Pine Valley Drive to the west, Dufferin Street to the east, Teston Road to the north and Highway 407 to the south. The service area will gradually expand throughout the pilot period.
Designated micromobility device parking locations will be identified in each vendor’s mobile app. Failure to comply with parking guidelines will result in fines set by the vendor. The City is not responsible for the management of these e-bikes and e-scooters – the corresponding vendor is responsible for their own devices.
The cost associated with the rentals will be available through each vendor’s mobile app. Payment and booking of the devices can be done through the relevant vendor’s mobile app.
Following the two-year pilot, the City will determine whether to make these shared-use micromobility devices available on a permanent basis here in Vaughan. More information about the pilot is available at vaughan.ca/micromobility.

“The City of Vaughan is committed to keeping people moving. Through the newly launched Shared Micromobility Pilot, we are championing alternative modes of transportation, like e-scooters and e-bikes, to help connect the community and ensure seamless travel across Vaughan. This is a key priority as part of our ongoing efforts to advance active transportation and fight traffic gridlock. We’ve built new cycling facilities, created bike lanes and established in-boulevard multi-use pathways, all to offer sustainable travel options, accommodate micromobility-users and create an even more interconnected city. In Vaughan, we remain committed to building the most seamless and flexible transportation network in the Greater Toronto Area, and through pilots like these, we will achieve that vision.”
