Join Us to Plant Trees at Langstaff Park

Register for the family-friendly event on Sept. 19

Looking for ways to enjoy the last rays of summer sun before autumn takes root? You’re invited to join the City of Vaughan, in partnership with the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, for a free community tree planting event on Saturday, Sept. 19 at Langstaff Park (2001 Langstaff Rd.) from 10 a.m. to noon. 

This is a family-friendly event – no tree-planting experience is required! A safety demonstration will be conducted before planting begins. City staff will provide shovels, gloves and light refreshments for volunteers. Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.

This event will be held rain or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress comfortably, bring your own closed-toe footwear and a reusable water bottle.
