Take the online survey by May 14

The City of Vaughan is exploring a car-sharing pilot program in the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre (VMC), and we want to hear from you. Whether you walk, take public transit or cycle to get where you need to go, your input matters.

What is car-sharing?

Car-sharing programs offer short‑term access to shared vehicles that can be booked when needed, providing a flexible alternative to private vehicle ownership. As part of the City’s pilot, vehicles would be stationed at designated locations throughout the VMC, allowing users to book them as needed and return them to the same location at the end of each trip.

Take the survey

To have your say on car-sharing in the VMC, preferred vehicle locations and anticipated uses, take an online survey by Thursday, May 14. Feedback from the survey will help shape the pilot program in advance of the anticipated launch in fall 2026.
