Connecting residents to the great outdoors
New nature trail coming to Vaughan
The City of Vaughan is improving access to nature with the development of a new trail designed to connect residents with the outdoors while promoting active lifestyles, environmental stewardship and community well‑being.
Earlier today, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council gathered to announce this new nature trail coming to the Ward 5 community.
Located at 60 Promenade Cir. and spanning approximately 350 metres, the trail will provide a welcoming pathway through one of Vaughan’s natural landscapes, offering residents and visitors more opportunities to walk, explore and enjoy high‑quality public spaces close to home. This project supports Vaughan’s vision of a vibrant, livable city that prioritizes health, sustainability and connection to the outdoors.
Construction of the trail will take place this summer and is expected to be completed later this year.
