Grow a greener Vaughan this spring
Attend a tree planting event on April 25 at Chatfield District Park
Spring is on its way! The City of Vaughan invites you to help bring new life to our community this season at a free community tree planting event on Saturday, April 25 at Chatfield District Park (100 Lawford Rd.) from 10 a.m. to noon.
This is a family-friendly event – no tree-planting experience required! A safety demonstration will be conducted before planting begins, and the City will provide shovels, gloves and light refreshments for volunteers. Space is limited, so register now to confirm your attendance.
This event will be held rain, wind or shine. It will also require outdoor physical activity, so please dress appropriately, bring your own closed-toe footwear and a reusable water bottle.
