Freeze the dates! Vaughan’s Winterfest celebration returns on Feb. 7 and Feb. 8
Double the days, double the magic! The City of Vaughan’s 36th annual award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest is back by popular demand, and it’s going to be ‘snow’ much fun!
Presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, this event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 8 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.). Be sure to dress for the weather!
Here are all the FREE family-friendly activities you can look forward to:
Saturday, Feb. 7
Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council will take the stage at 3:30 p.m. to provide an official welcome to Winterfest. Enjoy stage entertainment for people of all ages, including Gabby’s Dollhouse Dance Party, the Wicked 2 Live Show, music with DJ Monaco and an interactive Zumba class to keep you warm!
Additional outdoor activities on Saturday will include:
- food vendors
- free midway rides
- Jumping Kids Gym
- meet and greet with Gabby from Gabby’s Dollhouse
- The Hockey Circus Show
Sunday, Feb. 8
Fuel up for a full day of winter festivities starting with a free pancake breakfast from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., while quantities last. Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council will take the stage to provide an official welcome at 11:45 a.m. You can also take part in a free indoor swimming and lifeguard skill activity from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Not your speed? Then we invite you to enjoy a full day of free entertainment with:

Parking and shuttle information
There will be no parking onsite. Shuttle buses will be running on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from:
- Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.)
- Emily Carr Secondary School (4901 Rutherford Rd.)
- Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Library (200 Apple Mill Rd.).
You can also park and walk to the event from:
- Fossil Hill Public School (2 Firenza Rd.)
- St. Veronica Catholic Elementary School (171 Maria Antonia Rd.).
Accessible parking is available at St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School (2 Davos Rd.).

Are you a business or food vendor looking to participate in Winterfest? You can fill out an online form by Wednesday, Jan. 21 at noon to apply to have a booth to promote your business or sell merchandise or food at this year’s event.
