Santa Claus Is Coming to Vaughan and He Needs Your Help!

Participate in this year’s parade with a float or as a volunteer

 

The City of Vaughan’s Santafest Parade returns on Sunday, Nov. 29 – and you’re invited to join in the fun! 

 

The City is inviting schools, community groups, sports teams and businesses to start planning now and secure your spot in this year’s parade.

 

What’s in it for you?

Promote your business and brand to thousands of residents and visitors, while spreading holiday cheer in your community. Bonus: it might even earn you a spot on Santa’s NICE list! 

 

Here’s how you can help:

  • Become a sponsor – Available at a variety of levels, your business can select the sponsorship benefit package that is best suited for you! To learn about sponsorship opportunities, visit vaughan.ca/santafest or email santafest@vaughan.ca.
  • Join the parade – Get involved in this year’s parade with creative floats, marching bands, walking groups or mascots that reflect your brand. The cost to participate is $100 +HST. There is no entry fee required for registered non-profit organizations or schools. Participating schools receive a $500 bursary for their spot in the parade. Register by Friday, Nov. 13 at noon, at vaughan.ca/santafest.
  • Volunteer – Santa can never have too many helpers! Complete the application form at vaughan.ca/santafest to show your support as a volunteer.

 

Event details

The parade will take place on Sunday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 p.m. starting at the intersection of Springside Road and Melville Avenue, travelling north on Melville Avenue, then east on Major Mackenzie Drive, ending at Vaughan City Hall (2141 Major Mackenzie Dr.).
