Good news for residents in the Ward 4 community – a new place to play is on its way!
On June 24, Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council gathered to announce Maple Hill Park – a vibrant new community space coming to the intersection of McNaughton Road and Major Mackenzie Drive.
Located at 1818 Major Mackenzie Dr., Maple Hill Park is thoughtfully designed for all ages and interests. The park will feature a modern playground, a scenic terrace with a pergola shade structure, gathering spaces with feature seating, walkways and beautiful meadow plantings.
As part of its ongoing commitment to building healthy, connected communities, the City of Vaughan continues to invest in parks and open spaces that enhance quality of life. From climbing and strolling to simply unwinding outdoors, Maple Hill Park will offer something for everyone.
Construction of the new park began in June 2026 and is anticipated to be complete by summer 2027.
