Vaughan shines at the 2026 Mayor’s Gala in support of the Spirit of Generosity
On June 11, close to 1,000 community leaders and business professionals came together at Universal Event Space for Mayor Steven Del Duca’s 2026 Mayor’s Gala, united in support of the Spirit of Generosity – an initiative that continues to make a meaningful impact in Vaughan.
All proceeds raised from the 2026 Mayor’s Gala go toward the Spirit of Generosity, which supports more than 250 non-profit and community organizations, including children and youth groups, healthcare initiatives, seniors’ organizations and special needs programs. Since 2011, the Spirit of Generosity has raised millions of dollars, helping build a stronger, more hopeful future for people in Vaughan and communities across Ontario.
Built around the theme “Vaughan: Where You Want to Be,” the 2026 Mayor’s Gala, as emphasized in Mayor Del Duca’s keynote address, recognized the collective efforts of residents, community organizations and public officials, and inspired a continued commitment to building something great together.
