Reserve a gazebo online

 

Get ready to grab your picnic baskets and pack some snacks –  the City of Vaughan is making it easier to dine al fresco with family and friends this spring and summer. You can now reserve a gazebo at five City-operated parks online at vaughan.perfectmind.com.

 

Locations include:

  • Chatfield District Park (100 Lawford Rd.)
  • Doctors McLean Park (8100 Islington Ave.)
  • Mackenzie Glen District Park (220 Cranston Park Ave.)
  • Maxey Park (181 Willis Rd.)
  • Sonoma Heights Community Park (100 Sunset Ridge.)

 

Bookings are available 10 to 90 days in advance for a three-to-nine-hour timeslot. The fee is $48.32 per hour for residents and $53.69 per hour for non-residents (excluding tax) for the gazebo reservation, with an additional required insurance fee of $28.05. All bookings also require a $300 security deposit that will be refunded in full after your event.

 

To book online, follow these steps: 

  • Log in to vaughan.perfectmind.com 
  • Click the ‘Facility Information’ tab, then ‘Online Facility Booking’ 
  • Click ‘Picnic Area’
  • Pick your desired park and click ‘Choose’
  • Select the duration of your reservation (between three to nine hours) and input the number of attendees 
  • View the calendar to select your preferred date and time
  • Click ‘Reserve’ 
  • Review and agree to contract terms, enter payment and place your order  
  • A contract and receipt will automatically be emailed to you  

 

All park bookings include exclusive use of a gazebo shelter and select picnic tables. All other park amenities, such as parking, playgrounds, water play areas, tennis and bocce courts, secondary shade structures and washrooms, are open for public use.
