A local off-leash dog area is coming to Giovanni Caboto Park
A new pet-friendly space is coming to Ward 3! The City of Vaughan is planning for a new fenced-in local off-leash dog area within Giovanni Caboto Park, located at 75 Matthew Dr. in Woodbridge. Once complete, this designated off-leash area will welcome dogs of all sizes, with separate spaces for large and small breeds.

Vaughan declares a Significant Weather Event
The City of Vaughan has declared a Significant Weather Event based on a freezing rain warning issued by Environment Canada. A period of freezing rain is anticipated to begin early Tuesday, Jan. 17 and is expected to change to light rain by late morning or early afternoon.

Vaughan’s award-winning Winterfest returns in-person!
The City of Vaughan’s 33rd annual award-winning Vaughan Celebrates Winterfest, presented by TD and event sponsor Tim Hortons, returns in-person this year for the first time since 2020 on Sunday, Feb. 5. Join in the fun at this free, family-friendly winter celebration from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Vellore Village Community Centre (1 Villa Royale Ave.).
