Get Involved with the Integrated Urban Water Plan

The City of Vaughan is developing a new Integrated Urban Water Plan to meet the community’s water needs for current and future generations.

Public engagement is vital to the development of the City’s Urban Water Plan. Opportunities for public feedback have been available throughout the duration of the study. Thank you to those who have participated. The next and final opportunity to get involved and have your say on the Urban Water Plan is taking place on Monday, Feb. 5.

An in-person session is being held for residents to learn more about how we are planning for increased water demands, and how our system of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure (such as pipes, watermains and drains) will grow. During this session, residents will be able to provide input and speak to the project team directly.

Here are the details:

  • Date: Monday, Feb. 5

  • Time: Drop by anytime between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Can’t attend in person? Material from the session will be available for review on this page by Tuesday, Feb. 6. Questions, comments and feedback can be submitted through an online commenting form or via email at urbanwaterplan@vaughan.cauntil Tuesday, Feb. 20

Input collected throughout the study process will help inform final recommendations.
