The off-leash dog area at Legion Park is now open!
The City of Vaughan welcomes another local off-leash dog area for you and your furry friends to enjoy! The newest off-leash area is in Woodbridge, within Legion Park at 70 Legion Court Rd, south of Highway 7, off Islington Avenue.

Did you know it’s against the law to litter on your own property? Everyone has a role to play in keeping Vaughan clean by putting trash where it belongs – even on private properties. Your small actions can make a big difference in ensuring the city remains safe, clean and beautiful.
Marking Sisters in Spirit Day
The City of Vaughan has proclaimed Tuesday, Oct. 4 as Sisters in Spirit Day. It
is a day of somber reflection to honour the lives of missing and murdered
Indigenous women, girls and gender-diverse people in Canada. In commemoration,
the City is holding a Spirit Vigil in the Courtyard at Vaughan City Hall,
beginning at 6 p.m. Members of the community are encouraged to attend.
