York Region is investing in the city’s future road network

The Regional Municipality of York (York Region) is improving regional roads in the city of Vaughan. To ensure a continued safe and reliable transportation network, York Region is investing in Vaughan’s roads to accommodate population growth, improve traffic flow, extend the life of roads and bridges, and enhance safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

York Region has scheduled road improvements throughout Vaughan. Work is underway to build, reconstruct and repair areas for citizens, growing communities and all future road users. It includes road reconstruction and widening, culvert replacement, intersection upgrades and improvements to enhance traffic operations, and pavement repair, preservation and rehabilitation.

Safely conducting these improvements is a priority, along with minimizing disruptions as best as possible. For a comprehensive list of all regional road projects taking place in the city of Vaughan, visit York Region’s dedicated Vaughan construction webpage, view an interactive map or review the 2022 to 2025 Vaughan Construction Projects one-pager (PDF).
