Vaughan property owners: check your mailboxes. The City of Vaughan’s 2023 interim residential and non-residential property tax bills have been issued. Payment due dates are as follows:

• First instalment – Wednesday, March 29
• Second instalment – Thursday, April 27
• Third instalment – Monday, May 29

As a forward-thinking municipality, the City of Vaughan is paving a green future. The mission is to champion a sustainable community, act as a steward to preserve the natural environment and lead with municipal best practices. Sustainable development is not just a trend, it is a significant priority woven into all city-building efforts. 

The City of Vaughan offers many online services 24 hours a day, seven days a week through Service Vaughan – including buying or exchanging blue boxes, green bins and kitchen containers! Backyard composters and garbage tags are also available for purchase. Here’s how:

Do you ever wonder how you get your water supply? It’s from watermains, which are underground pipes that are a part of the City-owned local water distribution system and deliver safe and clean drinking water to Vaughan residents and businesses. But sometimes – most commonly in the winter – watermains break.
