Maintenance
The City received four awards from Festivals and Events Ontario for 2022
Throughout the year, the City of Vaughan provides free, fun family-friendly events that are also award-winning! In recognition of its commitment to delivering Service Excellence, the City’s Recreation Services department received four awards from Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) for events held in 2022. The awards were presented during a special ceremonial presentation at today’s Committee of the Whole (1) meeting.
It’s the season for April showers! The City of Vaughan’s stormwater system ensures rain and melted snow make their way back into ponds, streams and lakes. The resident living closest to a catch basin is encouraged to help clear it if it’s safe to do so – especially before or during heavy rainfall.

Working together to deliver programs and services
Are you familiar with the different levels of government? Do you know how they work together to deliver programs and services? The City of Vaughan operates within a two-tier municipal structure, which means there are two levels of government providing services to the Vaughan community – the local municipality (the City) and the regional municipality (York Region).
Place materials curbside beginning the week of April 18
