The City of Vaughan’s Volunteer Recognition Awards is an annual event that honours the outstanding contributions of local volunteers. The 2023 award ceremony took place this evening at Vaughan City Hall with 75 recipients recognized for their dedication to the community.

FREE fun activities for youth from May 1 to 7
Every May, the City of Vaughan celebrates youth and their active participation in our community. Whether it’s through contributions to recreation, drama, sports, volunteering, dance or art, National Youth Week is a time to honour Vaughan’s young leaders.

The City of Vaughan’s weekly leaf and yard waste collection is back! Starting this week, staff will pick up yard waste materials every week on your regular collection day. Bi-weekly collection will begin the week of June 13.
