The Regional Municipality of York (York Region) is improving regional roads in the city of Vaughan. To ensure a continued safe and reliable transportation network, York Region is investing in Vaughan’s roads to accommodate population growth, improve traffic flow, extend the life of roads and bridges, and enhance safety for pedestrians and cyclists.

The time we’ve all been waiting for is here – to get outdoors and enjoy Vaughan’s parks, trails and sports fields! Many of the City of Vaughan’s park amenities are now open for the season, with more reopening very soon.
Amenities that are open year-round daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. include:
Help protect Vaughan’s water source and environment from spills
Annual litter cleanup and grass cutting around 150 stormwater ponds to begin
The City of Vaughan’s city-wide spring maintenance efforts are well underway and will include cleaning up around 150 stormwater management ponds.
As part of this seasonal work, which begins in May and wraps up by October, the City will complete three rounds of litter pickup around stormwater ponds and grass cutting along the perimeter of each pond area.
