Essential services, such as fire and emergency response and by-law and enforcement services, will continue uninterrupted. Non-essential administrative services will resume on Tuesday, May 21, by phone, email, online and in person.

While the City’s in-person contact centre will be closed on Monday, May 20, a live agent will be available by phone at 905-832-2281 to respond to municipal emergencies.

Community centres and recreational programming

Community centres will be closed on Monday, May 20 and will reopen on Tuesday, May 21. There will be no recreation programs, swim lessons or drop-in recreational activities on Victoria Day. Programs and services will run as scheduled on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19.
