Vaughan Named One of Canada’s Best Locations for Investment for the Second Year in a Row

The City of Vaughan has once again been recognized for driving economic growth and attracting investment, earning a place on Site Selection Magazine's list of Canada's Best Locations for the second year in a row. 

This achievement was celebrated with Mayor Steven Del Duca and Members of Council during a special ceremonial presentation at the Sept. 29 Council Meeting. The recognition reinforces Vaughan's position as one of Canada’s leading destinations for business investment, expansion and job creation.

The magazine’s Canada’s Best Locations list is based on data showing where companies invest most, how much capital they invest and how many jobs they create. After first being recognized in 2025, Vaughan has maintained its position on the list, demonstrating sustained economic momentum and a growing reputation as a leading investment destination.

Vaughan's strategic transportation infrastructure helps drive economic growth by supporting the efficient movement of goods and people. With direct access to Canada's largest Canadian Pacific Kansas City intermodal terminal, Canadian National Railway's second-largest classification yard and the Toronto Transit Commission subway system, Vaughan offers businesses strong connections to domestic and international markets.
